There is a self-hosted piece of financial software I’ve become interested in today. It seems like it may be a good fit. I’ve finally discovered a taste for tallying figures.

I think it would be neat if part of the reform of the American football system and culture involved swapping out tackle football in high schools for flag football. It would still be darn exciting, and not so, as it tend to be, on occasion — darn ponderous and boring and slow.

somehow i wound up as a beta tester for Domino’s Pizza online order system – and now I’m receiving $5 off every time we do an order for family pizza night. which is fun.

I received an email from the Dallas Symphony Orchestra that this year’s “Student Card” was “live.” I called the box office to see if I could quickly buy one to add to my already existing account. For the attendant, in their system, the student card was not yet listed as “live,” but I should be able to purchase it on the website. I navigated to the DSO website in my internet browser – and the site was under construction and down for all purchases. This was 3 days ago. Returning to the site today to check into the matter, I filled out the student card purchase form, pressed “Purchase,” and watched as nothing happened.

Just ……. why?

Finally got the new Textpattern based site completely operational. Now to comb back through my articles and notes and links and every other thing, and add categories. And actually try and write a paragraph and not just tinker.
